The Tajikistan eVisa is an official electronic travel permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, allowing foreign visitors to stay for up to 60 days within a 90-day validity window. For travelers planning to visit the Pamir Mountains or traverse the renowned Pamir Highway, a special permit for the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) is legally required. When applying through NomadicMart, you can conveniently request the GBAO permit bundled directly with your electronic visa application.
No commercial agency or intermediary can guarantee visa or permit approval. All authorization decisions belong exclusively to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. NomadicMart is an independent application facilitator not affiliated with the Government of Tajikistan or evisa.tj. We assist travelers by conducting thorough document reviews and ensuring all travel dates and passport details conform strictly to regulatory standards.
Under the modernized eVisa regime, foreign citizens entering Tajikistan on an approved eVisa are generally exempt from mandatory OVIR police registration for stays of up to 30 calendar days. However, if your stay extends beyond 30 days, you must register with the local passport and registration department (OVIR) in Dushanbe or major regional cities within your first 30 days of stay.
The Tajikistan eVisa is accepted at Dushanbe International Airport (DYU) and Khujand International Airport (LBD), as well as designated international road border crossings with Uzbekistan (such as Panjakent and Dusti), Kyrgyzstan (subject to border status), and the Kyzyl-Art Pass. Travelers crossing land borders must ensure their visa printout is kept in good condition for physical inspection by border guards.
The Tajikistan eVisa is valid for entry within 90 days from the date it is issued. As long as your actual arrival and entire period of stay fall completely within this 90-day window, you do not need to alter your visa if your specific arrival flight changes by a few days. However, you cannot remain in the country beyond the stated visa expiration date.
