The Russia Unified Electronic Visa is a single-entry electronic visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. It is available to citizens of approximately 55 eligible countries for tourism, business, humanitarian, and guest visits. The visa is valid for entry for 60 days from the date of issue, permitting a maximum stay of up to 16 calendar days from the date of arrival.
The 16-calendar-day limit is enforced strictly by Russian border authorities. The day of entry and the day of departure both count as full calendar days, regardless of the time you cross the border. Overstaying even by a few hours can result in court fines, mandatory deportation proceedings, and a minimum five-year entry ban into the Russian Federation.
No commercial agency or private facilitator can guarantee visa approval. Sovereign entry decisions are made exclusively by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Border Service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia. NomadicMart is an independent application service not affiliated with the Government of Russia or electronic-visa.kdmid.ru. We provide thorough document pre-checks and ongoing customer care.
Yes. In accordance with Russian migration legislation, foreign visitors must be registered with the migration authorities within 7 working days of arrival. If staying in a registered hotel, hostel, or sanitarium, the accommodation administration handles this registration automatically upon check-in and provides a registration slip (kvitantsiya). Keep this slip until border departure.
The Unified eVisa is accepted at over 100 designated international checkpoints across the Russian Federation. This includes major airports in Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky), St. Petersburg (Pulkovo), Sochi, Kazan, and Vladivostok, as well as designated railway and seaport checkpoints. Travelers must enter and exit through officially listed checkpoints.
