The Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is an online pre-arrival registration system mandated by the Immigration Department of Malaysia for all foreign travelers entering the country. It captures traveler itineraries, contact information, and health declarations electronically to modernize immigration procedures and accelerate border control clearance across all international entry checkpoints.

Only a limited group of travelers are exempt from filing the MDAC: citizens of Singapore, holders of diplomatic and official passports, Malaysian permanent residents and long-term pass holders, Brunei Common Identity Card holders, Thailand Border Pass holders, and Indonesian Cross-Border Travel Pass holders. All other international visitors must complete an MDAC.

Citizens of eligible countries (including Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, the US, and EU member states) who hold biometric passports and submit an approved MDAC can use the automated e-gates at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) for rapid immigration clearance on arrival and departure.
