How it works
How does the visa checker work?
Your answer comes from each destination's own entry rules.
Your passport decides
Visa rules follow the country that issued it.
Up-to-date rules
Our team checks them regularly.
Checked again before filing
Rules change, so an expert confirms yours first.
Nomadic Mart is an independent service, not a government agency. The destination always makes the final decision.
Questions
Visa checker FAQs
My passport expires in 4 months. Can I still apply?
It depends on the destination. Many ask for at least 6 months' validity from the day you arrive, some ask for less, and airlines check it before you board. We check your passport's dates against your destination's rule before we file. If it's too short, renew first: a visa is linked to the passport you apply with.
My passport is from one country, but I live in another. Which rules apply?
Usually your passport decides. Some destinations also accept a residence permit, such as a Gulf residence, for a visa on arrival or an easier route. Pick your passport and destination above: when your residence can change the answer, the checker shows “Where you live”.
I have two passports. Which one should I use?
Pick the one you'll travel on, and apply with that same passport: a visa or eVisa is linked to one passport number. Not sure which is better? Check both above, as one may need no visa at all. If one of them is from the country you're visiting, use that one.
My spouse and I have passports from different countries. Can we apply together?
Yes. Check each passport above first: visa rules follow the passport, so one of you may need a visa while the other doesn't. Then add both of you to one application. You only pay for the visas you need, and each of you gets your own decision.
Our child has a different passport from us. Do they need a visa too?
It depends on their passport, not yours. Check it above: a child can need a visa when you don't, or the other way around. Either way, they can go on your application with their own passport.
I'm only changing planes there. Do I need a visa?
Often not, if you stay inside the airport on one ticket. But some countries need a transit visa even then, and leaving the airport, changing airports or flying on separate tickets usually counts as entering the country. The checker covers entering a country, so ask us about a connection before you book.
I was refused a visa before. Can I still apply?
Usually, yes. A refusal from one country doesn't stop you applying to another, and many let you apply again once the reason is fixed. If a form asks about past refusals, we ask you and file your answer exactly as you give it. No one can promise approval: the decision is always the destination's.
Can I apply for multiple travelers in a single application?
Yes. Add up to 10 travelers, family and children included, to one application. Each just needs a photo of their passport; we handle every government form.
Can I apply for multiple visas at once?
Yes. Add every country on your trip and apply in one go; we file each country's application for you.
I made a mistake on my application. What now?
Tell us right away. Before we submit your application, we correct it at no cost. Once it's submitted, most governments don't allow changes, so a wrong detail may need a new application and new fees. If the mistake was ours, we put it right. A wrong passport number matters most: airlines check it against your visa.
